Why was the college established?

 

In 'Majjim Nikaya' the Lord says 'Bhikkhus! Like a fleet, I have taught you Dharma. That cross is not meant to be carried on your head, but religion is the king of orders, but you should leave religion too, what is the matter of unrighteousness? Filled with this spirit, on the invitation of the Management Council of 'Babban Singh Education Institute', the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Bihar Government, Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav, while speaking in the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Institute on February 9, 1992, emphasized on the establishment of the college. As a result, on December 31, 1995, the foundation stone of Buddha Mahavidyalaya was laid by the Kamalo of the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Kalyan Singh and founder Dr. Tej Pratap Singh. After the construction of the building, the Higher Education Section 6 of the State Government, on 1-12-97, received the clearance for seven subjects of the Faculty of Arts. His Excellency Mr. Governor/Chancellor approved the affiliation of seven subjects Hindi, English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics and Geography in Arts Faculty under Section 37 (2) of State University Act 973 on 20-5-98. Of., The Chancellor has given permanent affiliation of the college dated 27-6-2005, as well as, by the Uttar Pradesh government in the Faculty of Arts, Home Science, Computer Application, Philosophy and Pedagogy for four subjects and B.Com of Commerce Faculty dated 30-6. on -2005. Approval has been received. The course of M.Com MA Hindi started from the year 2012-13 after getting affiliation. B.Ed. The course started from the year 2012-13 after getting the affiliation. B.Ed. After recognition from NCTE on 100 hundred in the course, the affiliation with Didi U.G.V.V.Gorakhpur has been received from the session 2013-14. Note: The college also includes Distance Learning Center (S-1457) of Rajarshi Tandon Open University Prayagraj. Here the entire course is conducted through distance education.
